Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Records Management Analyst to join our team. As a Records Management Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving organizational processes and systems. Your expertise in records and document management, information governance, and data management will be crucial in ensuring the efficient flow of information within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Declassification review of technical and non-technical classified records, as it pertains to Classified National Security Information
- Determine and/or develop system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility
- Apply standard principles, theories, and concepts to the solutions of problems of moderate or diverse scope
Qualifications:
- At least two (2) years of military experience, OR
- At least two (2) years of experience in a field which includes performance of the following functions for Army Records Management : Declassification, FOIA, or Privacy
- Must have the ability to perform in-depth reviews and evaluations on records using the declassification review process
- Must be able to provide solutions to analytical problems, being cognizant of different agencies equities
- Must exhibit knowledge of the proper use of acronyms, and document dispositions rendered on documents reviewed.
- Must have experience working on classified projects.
- Must ensure compliance with information governance policies and procedures
- Must be proficient with safeguarding, maintaining, and using the proper handling and reporting procedures affiliated with the handling of classified records
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and propose solutions
- Must be able to perform administrative tasks related to document control and record-keeping
- Proficient in data management principles and practices
- Knowledge of information governance frameworks and regulations
- Familiarity with information security protocols
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Must have an active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.
Note: Top Secret Clearance Requires U.S. Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Records Management Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of document management systems and practices
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
