Overview

Our client provides software products and services that help keep the world safe.  Ranging from network forensics, web automation, and cybersecurity, our technical capabilities support the processing, automated analytics, and data flow technologies that put powerful information into the hands of analysts.

We are looking for a versatile software engineer to help maintain and enhance the company’s web automation product line which supports researchers with automated search and analysis of open and deep web content.  This product line is comprised of 4 applications, primarily developed in C#, to support individual or large groups of researchers. 

Responsibilities

Your primary role in our team will be to contribute as a developer supporting our web automation software.  In this role, you will perform a combination of feature development, bug fixes, and technical experimentation to continuously improve our product line.  You will work as part of a small agile team, and contribute to sprint planning sessions, help maintain a product backlog, and participate in daily team standups.  In addition, you will be cross-trained on other company technologies, and may have the ability to assist in other projects and R&D efforts as opportunities arise.  

Qualifications

Education: No degree required, but at least some college-level computer science coursework preferred

Required Skills & Experience: 

• 3 years of experience developing software
• Thorough understanding of any high level OO language (C#, Java, etc), in addition to at least introductory experience with C# and .Net Framework
• Experience developing in Windows and Linux environments

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience in Puppeteer, Selenium, or other commercial web automation frameworks a plus
• Experience with Jira and other Atlassian products a plus
• Experience with SQL, MongoDB, or other database technologies a plus
